Coroners Office

The Coroner's Office is an independent judicial office that investigates sudden, unexplained, or suspicious deaths in the North East Lincolnshire area. The service works with medical examiners, police, and healthcare professionals to determine the cause of death.

Services include death investigation, inquest hearings, and issuing of death certificates. The office is also responsible for administering the death certification process for cases requiring investigation.
